Turf is a living organism, and like any other plant in your garden needs to be looked after. Sadly, most lawns are left to fend for themselves apart from a weekly mowing, a splash of weed killer if the weeds get too bad, and a feed if the grass gets too yellow.
As well as being neglected, walking, running, sports, dogs, and bicycles all cause wear to your lawn. When turf is worn, it becomes weak and more susceptible to disease and other forms of damage. Pavements, driveways, and buildings can also have an effect on turf. |
