Organic Border Soil: A dense black soil with a high organic content. It is the No 1 choice for border and bed applications. This soil also has excellent hydroscopic properties (absorbs and retains moisture). When applied to borders or beds it will retain its rich black colour throughout the year. During the dry summer months when the soil tends to become dry on the surface the natural colour may fade slightly due to moisture loss, however the natural colour can easily be re-established by simply raking over the surface or watering.

Root Zone: An ultra fine power screened sandy loam soil certified to British Standards, ideal when laying or repairing golf/bowling greens etc. Once laid to an adequate depth and properly consolidated, turf can be applied with minimal risk of indentation from heavy impacts. This type of soil is also widely used as backfill on golf course drains etc, also used as a top dressing.

Soil Improver: This product is ideal for improving all soil types, for mulching and planting trees and shrubs. The naturally fertile formula is rich in nutrients and organic matter, improving soil structure for better drainage and root establishment.

Norfolk Loam - A rich fertile loam based topsoil raised from the fertile farmlands of Norfolk. (Brought in exclusively to us by Baileys of Norfolk). This top soil is only available through Easylawn Turf Supplies Ltd. An excellent soil for leveling ground prior to turfing or adding to borders when digging in organic matter.

Scotts Levington Top Soil - A rich fertile loam based soil with high organic content. Ideal for building up beds and borders, replacing sick soil, enriching existing soil, levelling new lawn areas and using as a base for John Innes type composts.

Gem Top Soil - A screened loam for use all around your garden. Use for making composts, creating and raising beds and rockeries and leveling lawns. Ideal for use in the greenhouse.

Evergreen Lawn Soil - 100% organic dressing to improve soil structure and root activity of lawns. Helps maintain the acid balance to encourage healthy turf and grass growth.

Scotts Levington Soil Improver & Mulch - Guaranteed 100% peat free organic soil conditioner. Things to remember:

If your soil has a sandy base, Levingtons Soil Improver & Mulch will improve the structure of your soil by adding humus to help hold moisture and nutrients.
If your soil is clay based, it will improve drainage helping excess moisture drain away leaving your plant roots healthy.
To provide an effective weed suppressant, a minimum of 50mm (2 inch) is required over the flower beds or containers. This should be maintained once a year.
For general soil improvement, a layer of 25mm (1 inch) should be dug into the top 10cm (4 inch) of soil.
Use as a mulch around your shrubs, in flower beds and containers to keep in valuable water and suppress those unwanted weeds.
